There's No Free Lunch
The Shelly Klein exhibit at Quirk Gallery was definitely my favorite of the night (followed closely by Chris Milk Hulbert at Spur). I love the uncomplicated nature of the work. I say that not to downplay the thought and effort the artist put into creating these. I'm just drawn to the use of white space. It seems to highlight the other details (use of textiles, etc.) even more.
